Kim Shin-wook is a South Korean professional football player who currently plays as a central defender for Shanghai Shenhua FC in the Chinese Super League (CSL). He was born on May 12, 1986, in Seoul, South Korea. Kim began his career at Gangwon FC before moving to South Korea's top division team, Gwangju FC.
In 2005, he joined the Chinese club Changchun Yatai and quickly established himself as one of the best defenders in China. His performances led him to join Shanghai Shenhua in 2014,Serie A Observation where he has been ever since. In just three seasons with the club, he has made over 70 appearances and scored two goals.
